A fiber optic interconnect unit (also known as LIU and fiber patch panel) is basically a optical fiber distribution cabinet where the backbone and individual equipment fiber optic cables are terminated or interconnected.

Hanut India offers fiber optic interconnect units in two forms - 1U rack mount cabinets and wall mount cabinets.
 
12 port wall mount interconnect unit (unloaded)
  Accepts two standard 6 port adapter panels
Has provision for up to 6 fiber splices
Has double door construction with lock to prevent unauthorized access
The wall mount interconnect unit has two compartment design with optical fiber adapter panels in the center. This two part design aids in systematic arrangement of cables.
Plastic cable spools are provided for storage of excess optical fiber cables
A slice holder tray with plastic grooves is also provided to securely hold the optical fiber cables / sleeves.
The wall mount unit has light weight yet strong all Aluminum construction. The unit is powder coated light Grey.
