Working concept
of Hanut India panel air conditioned computer cabinets
The computer cabinet is equipped with one panel conditioner and one
or two exhaust fans.
During summer season the panel conditioner will maintain the rack’s
temperature below 30 degree C. When the panel conditioner is working
the exhaust fan(s) are kept switched off.
During cooler part of the year when the room temperature is below
30 degree C the panel air conditioner is switched off and exhaust
fan(s) are turned on. Exhaust fan(s) expel hot air from the rack thereby
maintaining the computer cabinet's temperature below 35 degree C.
This smart use of panel air conditioner and exhaust fan saves electricity
and prolongs the life of the panel conditioner.

Unique features of Hanut India panel air conditioned computer
cabinets
* To improve insulation and cooling efficiency the rack’s inside is
covered with insulating foam of thickness 10mm (minimum).
* Panel conditioner is attached to the rack without ducting. Direct
attachment i.e. no ducting means better cooling and minimal chances
of cold air escaping from the rack. Panel conditioner can be easily
removed and reattached to the rack allowing for easy maintenance.
* Success of an air conditioned computer rack depends significantly
on the quality of the panel air conditioner (AC) used. Hanut India
has tie up with two of the leading panel AC manufacturers in India
enabling it to offer premium quality panel ACs with its air conditioned
computer racks.

This cabinet was designed to provide a thermally conditioned environment
to a server and a PC. Using Hanut India portable 2 port kvm switch
only a single keyboard, mouse and monitor were required to manage
the server and the PC.
